Every other U.S. carrier is either in the process of rolling it out or have made an announcement. As the largest carrier with the best resources for testing, we should have been the very first to receive it. Especially on your most expensive phone that you released in JANUARY 2015. The Note Edge seems to be left to the side AGAIN. I'm already ticked to the max that you included the Note 4 in the Netflix promotion this year and left out the Edge.

You should frequent the forum here more often. Then you wouldn't want LP till 5.1 came out.

I don't need to visit Verizon's goofy forums I'm on Android forums all the time and I know all there is to know regarding the updates. The only people having problems with "LP" are people who have caused those issues themselves 99.9% of the time. The majority of the people have had no problems whatsoever but don't get on forums and leave positive comments. You see people leaving negative comments about every update, I have never had one issue ever.

While I'm not sure why you came to these forums to begin with if you think they are goofy, I do agree with everything else.

I came to the forum to inquire to Verizon about exactly what I asked. It wasn't directed to you so why are you even asking why I'm here?

This is so very typical of Verizon.. You have some old outdate phones getting the latest update.. But their most expensive Android phone last in line for Lollipop... Thanks Verizon.

From gottabemobile.."The arrival of the T-Mobile Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop update means that there should be just one more Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop release left in the United States. The Verizon Galaxy Note Edge Lollipop update is still missing in action and itโs not clear when the carrier plans to roll out the firmware." Yay Verizon

Not to put the fear in you, but I don't know if Verizon is going to push lollipop for the note edge. The only reason I'm saying that is because on Samsung's site has all models showing/showed pending updates besides the Note Edge for Verizon...See for yourself.. youmobile.org is not a Samsung website.. Plus most carriers have upgrade
the Note Edge to Lollipop.. No reason to think Verizon won't.

I have no doubt whatsoever that an update is coming, just a matter of when. I have full confidence that because it's taking so long and we are the last to get an update on such a current and expensive phone that we will be jumping right from 4.4.4 to 5.1 and skipping 5.01, which was released by Samsung in FEBRUARY. (some sarcasm in there).

A Verizon "test engineer" is in the news today for posting on Google + about the hold up for Droid Turbo getting 5.0, saying the biggest issue was bugs in HD Voice calling. He said the Turbo will be getting 5.1 mid-June. I'm wondering if anyone asked him about the the situation for the Edge. His posts have already been deleted. These guys are so elusive.

Yeah they are. Problem is, if it's such a big issue for Verizon, why does my Note 4 on Verizon work perfectly with the Lollipop update?

Well Samsung has announced that the Note Edge is one of the phones which will be receiving Android M by the end of the year. I guess that means Verizon should get it out by 2017. I wonder if Samsung knows Verizon's Note Edge is still on 4.4.4? Ridiculous.
