How come VZ Navigator doesn't work on my Samsung Galaxy S7?

I've installed the app before, but when I've tried to use it I get an error message and it doesn't work.  I wind up using Google Maps.  However VZ Navigator works fine when I've had it on my Apple iPhone 6.  What's going on?!

HSpirit1, help is here as I want you to have access to VZ Navigator. What error message did you receive? Is there any update available to this application via the Google Play Store? Are the other functions of your device workig properly?

RalphT_VZW, granted VZ Navigator has some 'bells and whistles' that Google Maps doesn't have.  The question is, are those bells and whistles worth $4.99 a month.  To me, they're not.  I don't need 3D city views and real-life road sign images.  But, to each his own.  The GPS in my car and/or Google Maps get me where I want to go.  That's what's important to me.

We always want you to have the best feature available, jrh4054. While the 3D/road sign images aren't what you're looking for, VZNavigator does have other benefits such as speed limit warnings, local data such as gas prices and weather, and you can try it for free for 30 days.

It doesn't work on a Samsung Galaxy S6 either. I've tried everything. App continues to crash. A chat with a "Tech Coach" was laughable.Talk about embarrassing, which begs the question, what else have they totally mucked up?
