How do I retrieve an emergency alert message?

I just got an emergency alert message, but it disappeared as soon as I touched the screen. How do I retrieve this message?

It's been a while since I've received one, but I think I found it in my text messages.

Thanks for replying. It doesn't show up in my messages. It probably doesn't matter now. It's been hours since I got the message.

Yeah, maybe if it's been a few hours, it's no longer an emergency.

Now that my coffee is kicking in more (ha!), it occurred to me that maybe I found those messages in the Emergency Alerts app.
