Right after the ED05 update, I tried the GPS and it locked within 15 seconds after turning the GPS on and going into the Google Navigation app. I'm thinking "Hey, this is great, it is fixed!!!!". Well, I should have known that it was too good to be true.. The 4 or so times I have tried it since, it has taken more than an hour, it still will not lock, and I give up in frustration.
Is everyone having this problem, or is it just mine? Also, does everyone turn off the GPS until they use it, or do you all leave it on? I know there are aa few active members of the community that say they turn it off, but I am asking the normal users.
To add to the topic, I was playing around yesterday, and I found that if I left Google Location Services on, it would not lock. If I turned it off and went with just Standalone GPS Services, it worked fine. I don't want to run the Google Location Services anyway, but has anyone else seen this?

This is not a known issue with the update. I would suggest booting the phone into safe mode to see if this still occurs. If it doesn't, this means an application running in the background may be causing the GPS issue. Check your running applications and close all running applications. You will then need to remove applications that may be causing this. If it is still occurring in safe mode, something may be corrupt in the software. I would then recommend a factory reset.
