I went 21 days on ED05 and now today out of the blue it had 3 missed calls

I am starting to believe it is a network Issue and not a problem with the phone

I have not Installed any apps It just out of the blue started missing Calls

I don't think it's the network.  The Fascinate didn't have any reported missed call problems while running 2.1 Eclair it's original OS.  Froyo comes and all the issues start.  Missed calls and texts, battery stinks, 3G stops working, etc. Gingerbread running and no missed calls, battery is better, and 3G is awesome compared to Froyo.

I think there was a network issue at one time but bottom line is Froyo and the Fascinate don't get along on allot of devices without some tweaking.

After I restarted my phone I think the missed call Problem stopped

That is odd though I had just started it in the morning

And I would let it run before for days with out restarting it with no problems

Again that points to a software issue.

I just got a call from my Daughter and she said she called me earlier. She said did't you get my call? I looked in the call list and her call was there but my phone did not ring. I have my phone with me alli the time.

This is really getting frustrating! I hope something is done soon to correct this. I have a year left on my contract and I am getting an iPhone.

The issue with missed calls has been escalated to our Product Support Team. We will let you know as soon as there is any new information.

Thanks,

Just today, my wife's Fascinate was sitting within 10 feet of our recently acquired VZW Network Extender and had a missed call at 5:29pm.  The only reason she noticed the missed call was because she had a clock alarm set for 5:30pm.  Her phone has the ED05 update, was recently set back to Factory Default and only has 10 third party applications installed.  She also has to charge her phone at least two times per day.

Unrelated to the software issues with the Fascinate, her charging port is flaky and requires you to wiggle the cable to get it to charge.  Sometimes it will disconnect even while setting on a flat surface, which then makes it stop charging.

She just said to me, "The whole thing is just irritating to me."  I really hope they get this resolved soon or it might be time to start looking else where for cell service.

Then there's my Fascinate that has worse battery life after we received out Network Extender.  Doesn't make sense.

I think it is something with the network AND the phone.  I think the phone has added to the problems, my missed text messages show that my phone received the text, but it never appeared. But I also think it is the network, as both my wife's Continuum and my Fascinate were sitting next to each other on a couple of occasions, and both our phones missed calls at the same time.
