I bought this Samsung  S20 Ultra 5g on eBay,  but now I'm Outside of the USA, how do I unlock the simcard to use it with another carrier.

The support page ask for an account (which I don't have) even to talk to the chatBot.

Please, Help is very appreciated

It's harsh the way this so-called company treats people. There is NO WAY you can talk to a support agent if you are not already customer.

But even if you somehow get to talk to one of them, their attitude is "give me  your account number", "oh you don't have any? get out of my way".

I get it, its their policy not to expend resources on outsiders. A terrible policy I may say, but their policy in the end. (I don't know how they expect outsiders become new customers) so I wont mention that once I had a similar situation with a T-Mobile device and it took me less than 2 minutes chat with a Live agent.

The part I really don't get is, how-come having this awful strict policy and a so shady and unclear unlock policy too, they don't even bother in taking that process into an automated web service, as do any other respectable carrier (which I'm sure wont take them more than a week of work on 2 developers).

By now, I just have a Verizon device which Verizon refuse to service on, but as long as I can see nobody else can service.

Bottom line... an almost $400 dollars paper holder.

Thanks

We know how important it is to have your device working at all times, and we are here to help. In this case, if the device was not purchased directly from us, the best option would be to contact the seller, in this case eBay for additional assistance. We hope this information helps clarify your inquiry.
