aint no software fix going to fix these issues.  they are 4G specific.  it just doesn't work well on the data side.

These issues are not 4G specific as I was using the phone on 3G only in a area that only gets 3G and had the one way audio issue from the beginning.

Wow I am amazed at the level of whiny complaints. You had a trial period

you could return the phone but you didn't. If the phone was so bad why did

you keep it. I've had phones I found I didn't like so I took it back within

the trial period and exchanged for one I did like.

You people act like Verizon held a gun to your head. I'm not a Verizon

shill but I've had phones from almost every provider and have stuck with

Verizon because their customer service was good and because they had good

coverage everywhere I lived and worked. And when I did have problems the CS

Rep took personal responsibility to see that my problem was resolved.

The GNex is a great phone but when you buy it they tell you right up front

how many days you have to return it.

And yes the phone is simply a set of radios with a computer attached so

software is 90%. Geeze if you don't like the phone or it doesn't work in

your area then take it back and exchange it for something else.

I get the feeling that the biggest complainers here are people who are 1)

never satisfied with anything and 2) not able to operate the device.

I'm sorry but after a while you just get tired of all the whining

especially when a lot of it is just ridiculous...

yo bro,

you sell a product, its supposed to work, trial period or no trial period. particularly when it is your flagship product. "oh gee. that doesn't work" doesn't cut it.

How big of a 'whiner' or 'complainer' is someone when they're complaining

about complainers?

The reality is some people are having real issues, that if you read, or

comprehend what they're saying, the issues occurred after their 14 period

expired. So, when they drop $200+ for a phone or a device and don't

encounter a serious problem until after their 14 day trial period, what

does any consumer do? Raise a little hell to make sure their brand new

device that they loved using up until this point is functioning at a level

they paid for.

Have a little maturity, empathy, and respect for the problems others are

having with the device; you can also stop the complaining by providing

constructive responses instead of a complaint about complaints.

I love my Gnex except for the fact the radios are awful and the microphone

fails a lot.

I think the lesson here to those who don't like the pain is don't buy the first product out of the gate.

actually my wife has a low end samsung stratosphere 4G and it works great.

Please with what Verizon has done to me, they have broken the law 1st by giving out my passcode, then transferred me to a third party which is against Verizon's rules which I didn't know on 9/11/2015 whom Verizon transferred me to turned out to be a hacker scammer group, my life has been a nightmare since. They have done numerous illegal things and I have the evidence, I have reached out to all I can, at this point I want my records subpoenaed the vacancy that Verizon lied as well as broke the law more than once can anybody give me advice or help me? I spoke with a friend of mine who is an attorney his reply was if they're doing this to you they're probably doing it to a lot of other people and the best bet would be a class action lawsuit

First, there are no laws regarding giving out a passcode on the books anywhere in the US. You can hire a lawyer to subpoena any records needed for an individual lawsuit if you're seeking damages. I'd also suggest reading through your customer agreement as it does not allow for class actions and this has been upheld in court. The customer agreement also outlines the other options available to you in a dispute, such as arbitration for example-
