I've heard some rumors around the internet that the most recent ICS update has caused a lot of issues with connectivity with the Galaxy nexus. My phone hasn't asked me if I want to update yet or not, so I wanna see if other people have had any issues yet? Thanks

There has not been an update for the Nexus since Jan-Feb.

This happened to the European edition of the galaxy nexus, not the Verizon galaxy nexus.

What update happened then?
Mine updated the day it launched and I haven't had one since.

Maybe it was the update at launch? The Nexus phone that I have updated upon its first activation in January.

Since this post is "Currently Being Moderated" could someone from Verizon step up and give us an answer?

Uh? Was the site loading correctly when you saw this message? The only time I see a message like that is when the site doesn't load correctly and it looks very different from its normal appearance.

Don't understand how the gsn nexus was updated to 4.04 and now the Sprint nexus has been shipped with 4.04. So for some reason Verizon is holding us hostage and not releasing the current update

Google hasn't released the code for the Verizon Wireless Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Until they do, it isn't available yet. Verizon Wireless has nothing to do with the updates on the Galaxy Nexus.

Verizon has everything to do with updates on a Galaxy Nexus on Verizon's network. For various technical reasons, recent CDMA Android devices implement core telphony functionality in .apk files provided in binary form by the carriers. To function correctly, these .apk files must be signed by the so-called "platform" key. Hence, until Verizon provides this key there is no update.
It has already been leaked that Sprint is shipping their Nexus with the 4.0.4 version of ICS. Sprint operates on CDMA technology also. So if Verizon isn't the hold up, then what is?
