Internet connection freeze when searching with links or directly in search bar

Clicking on links in emails brings up Google search but never loads the page. Message appears saying “Your connection was interrupted “ followed by a network change was detected . Clicking on links in history is the same and pages don’t load. Something wrong in my settings?
