#update

I have had no issues with my phone before the new update took place, not sure as to way I am having issues with, Texting, Keyboard dropping, Apps closing, music keeps stopping and I use my phone for work and without the use of my music not working properly I'm unable to work productively get my job accomplished. My phone  has been working perfectly fine before this new update. Getting a new phone is not in my category, I have been with Verizon for over 12 years and this is the first time I'm having to post something like this. Is there a fix for this issue? I have tried the following with no success "Restarted, Shut off" none seems to work, hope there is some type of fix for this as I will have to move on with switching my service provider.

I depend on my device on a daily basis, so I know how important it is to have your apps up and running, and keeping you productive. Could you provide us with additional details about your phone? What is the make and model? What software are you currently on?

Thank you for those additional details, RT30. Is there any physical or liquid damage to the device?

There's no damage to the phone, issues didn't occur until I updated, the keyboard vanishing, apps pop that were once closed etc.

@RT30, you mentioned your phone being a Kyocera model.  There were several discussions about a month ago from assorted Kyocera users reporting a recent Verizon update was not compatible with Kyocera phones.  Sadly, your phone is now completely broken due to it installing the update and the update cannot be removed.  The other users had to get replacement phones where updates were disabled.  If it were me, I would rather get a different phone altogether if that's possible, because you never know if the device may somehow turn the updates back on, and then break again when it gets software it can't run properly.  Never mind that not getting updates leaves you more vulnerable to getting hacked.

With the update not being compatible is this for all models for Kyocera DuraForce? I see that there is a PRO3, would the update be compatible with the newer version? If not is there a phone with the same rugged features as the DuraForce?

I'm not sure which Kyocera models were affected, but it's entirely possible any Kyocera phones are no longer compatible with the current Verizon software updates.  As for comparable, different, phones, would suggest doing some internet searching or maybe check on Amazon to see if there is anything similar?  Then you can check Verizon's website under the bring your own device section to see if the other phone is compatible.
