I 6 lb object slipped and dropped on my phone. The screen has a fairly deep spiderweb gouge in it, but I'm pretty sure I damaged the phone as well--not just the screen. I need help figuring that out before I call the insurance--or take it somewhere to discuss replacing the screen. Help! (tia!)

Sorry to hear about the damaged phone, mtmom33. I definitely want to make sure that you can proceed in the way that works best for you. It's never fun to have a damaged phone. We don't do repairs at Verizon but you may want to reach out to Asurion if you have insurance to find out the deductible. Do you know if you have insurance? If so, you can go to phoneclaim.com to get started. We wouldn't be able to make any recommendations on third party repairs but if find a reliable provider, just keep in mind that getting help this way may void your warranty if you still have one.
