Ordered 2 phones online and it said they would be in and shipped july 8th. Got online for live chat and they said wont have phone til 21st. I ordered those particular phones so I could get them sooner!!! No help from Verizon...

Verizon has millions of customers, you aren't the only one who would have wanted to order the same SKU. It's highly possible someone else ordered the same models before you while they were in stock.
How can Verizon help with stock that isn't physically available? They wait for shipment from manufacturers like any other major company would. Covid hasn't made things easy on manufacturers with chip shortages, either.

Verizon should have waited to do you big "special" everybody gets a 5G phone until you had more inventory. Would have made better sense to please customers and great customer service. Which I am not seeing with too many places. No customer service or just plain rude nowdays. Maybe they are too many people that feel entitled or have no empathy.
