According to everywhere else its supposed to be available end of March.  That would be today.  According to Verizon they have no date in sight.

Sprint has rolled out Marshmallow for the edge plus.  Now when will it be available for us?

Find and update the software version on your Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+

Why is every reply from Verizon regardless of topic always "Blah blah blah [sentimental assurance] blah blah blah [ambiguous reply to question] blah blah blah [thanks for tolerating our garbage!!!]"???

How do you figure? Are you just thinking optimistically?

Verizon Wireless published the support documents yesterday. It is usually a good indication that the update is going to start in the next day or two.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

It's downloading to my S6 right now! Smiley Happy

It didn't initiate automatically -- I checked for update and it found it.

Mine shows update available OTA but will not download.  Says update was unsuccessful.   error code: 411.  Any suggestions?

Samsung switch and Verizon update assistant says no update available.

Having the same issue. Download repeatedly fails with error code 411... No idea what that means

Traditionally error code 411 means that it can't find the item it's looking for.  Either Verizon pulled it or there is excessive traffic making it difficult for some devices to find the update.  Try it again every few hours.  At least until you hear that Verizon has pulled it.

This is what I was just told in chat with Verizon:

"We have had a couple other customers chat in with the same issue (in the past 10 minutes) and we did confirm with Samsung that the Marshmallow update is on hold right now because of some bug fixes. They do not have an estimated time for the release of the update yet but once it is known it will become public."

I was one of the other customers reporting the same problem.  They had me contact Samsung support, but I will never do that again.  Samsung just said to send my phone in for repair.  It would take over two weeks before I got my phone back, so that is not happening.  I would just as soon go without the update than go two weeks without a phone.
