Why does it take so long for Message + to open?
Have you uninstalled/re-installed the app? Maybe submit feedback to the developers of the app? When it does open, does it work properly?

This can be caused by many factors, such as your cellular connection, how much available store you have (Helps to have 1-2 GBs of free space), having too many apps open at the same time, etc. We would recommend closing all of your open apps, and then do a Reset Network Settings if no improvement was made by the first step.
