Messages out of order

I have  the Galaxy S20

I am using Verizon Message plus

My messages are out of order. When I send a message it appears on the bottom. When I receive a message it appears  on top

Example

Receive.       hello

Receive.       I am fine 

Receive.        noon is fine 

Sender.         hello

Sender.         how are you

Sender.        want to meet at noon today?

I have my date and time set on auto

No messages are pinned or locked

I have uninstalled  and reinstalled  with same issue.
