I recently signed up for a military basic unlimited plan with Verizon that was supposed to cost $60 per month with one line. I understand the start-up costs on the first bill, but then it says my "new monthly" bill will be 84$. Why?

Do you have autopay enabled? Start Unlimited is $80 before tax normally. Autopay gets $10 off and the military discount for a line takes off another $10.

Thank you, Exemplis. Do you have any device payments on your account?PeterP_VZW

Do you have a device payment agreement also? There are also taxes and regulatory fees that are included in the plan pricing that will increase the bill. If this is your first bill from Verizon Wireless, you will also have the activation fee and an partial month of service charged on the bill. Until you look at the detailed bill to the breakdown of the charges and you post them here, the community members can only what additional charges are for.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
