I use to have the app "Missed Call for Android", but I lost it during the recent OS update. Apparently, it has been removed from the Market. It worked like a charm! Not sure why it was pulled.
I tried using Missed Reminder, NoLed and LiteFlow with mixed results. I'm just looking for something that will provide an audible notification every minute or so to let me know that I missed an event.
Any ideas or suggestions would be welcome that are working on your Fascinate!
Nice to haves:
1. Audible notification with ability to set interval.
2. Possible sleep feature - ability to turn off notifications during the night/sleep hours.
3. Ability to assign different sounds for each events.
4. Ability to include vibrate feature.
5. Timely notifications.
6. Auto-start upon reboot.
7. No false alarms.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
Search the Market for an app called Easy Reminder. It is free, been using it since I got my Fascinate. Works real well.

Not entirely sure, but I think the app you are looking for has been renamed to "Missed Call Deluxe". It is a paid app. Check it out and let us know.
Ann,
Do you use this app? It only shows 11 reviews and it looks like it doesn't support e/gmail notification.
Stupid question - I have only used "free" apps so far. How do you purchase one on the Market? Do you need a credit card or does it appear on your monthly VZW statement?
Thanks!

Thanks for your response!
Does it work for e/gmail as well? Not a dealbreaker, but it sure would be nice...

One more question - does it allow for the app to auto-start upon reboot?

Sorry it doesn't remind you for email but does start up automatically after a reboot.
PO_pack_mule, although I am not able to recommend an app for you, as they are not supported by Verizon Wireless, I am happy to explain that the Market bills you on a credit card that can be set up directly on your Google account. When purchasing, you also have the option to use a PayPal Account.
Thanks,

Thanks,
RoyB,
Thanks for the info on the Market paid apps.
With all of the things that the Fascinate does and/or is capable of, it sure would be nice if you could pass up to the higher ups the desire for a reminder interval feature as part of the basic notification selection. I.E. - when you receive a call, the phone let's you know, and it places an icon in the notification bar. Great. But that's it! No further beeps or whatever. If you miss a call, you have to physically turn your phone on to look. Even my old Motorola V710 had that kind of feature. Is it too much to ask to make the smartphone "Smart"...?
