Missing keys on keyboard

My ex-wife and I both have a Note 4.  We both have the same update version (update_SM-N910V_N17_to_NJ5).  My keyboard has the ten numbers/digits along the top of the 'QWERTYUIOP' keys.  Her phone doesn't have the numbers.  I can't find any setting that would seem to affect this feature.  Any suggestions?
