I cannot get my new s7 to be a mobile hotspot.  When i turn it on it says that i need to subscribe, but when i go into my account it lists it ss sn included service.

You may need to do a chat with an online rep to ensure there are no feature conflicts. Depending on your plan, as Ann154 said, this could be the culprit.

Do you have a prepaid plan or a postpaid plan? Which plan do you have?

I'm having the same issue with my S7 edge!  Had it then all the sudden didn't work.  Says to go check subscription and when I do it says I have it.  When I did troubleshooting it says I have something blocked.  Go to the blocked items and NOTHING is blocked and there is no option for hotspot that I can see.  Frustrating!

Login to your My Verizon on VZW.com and take a peek at your features. Sometimes a feature conflict or a block within your features could cause the challenges.

Totally not seeing where anything is connected to the HOTSPOT?!?!  Didn't see it on the blocked features either.  Guess I'll have to contact someone soon.  I don't use the hotspot very often but sometimes I'm in a place where I need it.

Agreed with wanting to use it from time to time. I'm the same. I'd do a chat with an online rep. Might save you time vs. calling in.

Ironlady37, we want to ensure that you have all of the services that you need. You mention that this hotspot was working one day and not the next. Do you recall adding any recent apps, games or software around that time?

I don't remember if I added any apps or games or not.  I know my hotspot worked on my S6 and doesn't work here on the S7 edge.  Now I can't pair my S2 watch with the phone either...frustrating.

Did that several times and again just now.  Still not connecting to gear nor do I have hotspot.  Still telling me I need to subscribe to the mobile hotspot service.

Well I tried that a few times too.  The watch goes back and forth from "connected remotely" to "standalone".  I try the gear software on phone when it is connected and still says no gear device.  Hotspot not working either.  The gear stopped working when I traveled east to PA and MD 2 weeks ago.  Before that the watch and phone worked fine just had trouble with hotspot.
