After 17 hours of tech support and 3 devices and 2 sim cards I still have no signal. Verizon refuses to replace my 5g phone with a 4g phone.

9wood, months of service issues certainly is not something we want for anyone. We are truly sorry for your experience on calls, this is not how we want any customer feeling. Exactly what is happening with your service? Do you recall adding any new apps, games or software around the time that this began? Are you aware of others in your area that are experiencing this? LorenB_VZW If my response answered your question please click the _Correct Answer_ button under my response. This ensures others can benefit from our conversation. Thanks in advance for your help with this!!

I called tech support because I was getting no phone calls under 5G and all calls were going to voicemail. They lowered my plan to start unlimited which saved me over $25 month and took away the 5G. Now my phone works much better on 4G LTE. once Verizon gets ultra wide 5G on the C band spectrum, which is true 5G capabilities, then I can always switch back to do more unlimited plan. Hope that helps.

Found an app that sticks the phone in4g. It's working very well. It's called forge 4g/5g only. Choose LTE and it keeps the phone on LTE.

Then get a new update to the software and fix your towers to offer what you are advertising and customers are paying for. It should not be acceptable that a customer is using a 3rd party app as a workaround to fix your problem. Especially when you advertise that your products work.
Also, customer service is horrible. The last rep I spoke to told me that the previous reps had the same information he did but that they were probably not willing to tell me there was no solution. After 19 hours on hold or in chats. 3 devices and several hours of setting up and moving data between phones. Also, lost some data and info along the way.
Also, I got to him after another rep placed me on hold several times to speak with management team about what they could do to resolve my issues. After being placed "on hold" for the 3rd time this new guy answers and said he could look at notes but couldn't connect me to the guy I was talking to previously. When I asked him about the management team he said that wasn't really a thing. They wanted to trade in my new phone and give me 250.00 for a phone I paid 700.00 for. He also suggested I sell the phone privately and get a different device.
Posted this earlier and it disappeared. I'll copy it this time to repost if it disappeares again. 🙂
