Music app and external devices

I'm using the standard Music app that came with my S4.  I connected my S4 to my Blu-ray player utilizing WiFi direct.  From the music app I select the Blu-ray as my playback device, and it works fine.  Problem is that for some reason the 'shuffle' icon disappears from the app when connected to an external device.  I've looked at other apps, but I'm having trouble finding another one that will connect to an external device, let alone connect and have the shuffle function.

Does anyone know a way to bring back the shuffle function on the standard app when connected to an external device or know of another music app that will do this?

Never mind.  Figured it out.
