Bluetooth maintained a connection in safe mode.
So I installed "Bluetooth Auto Connect" from app store and seems to have solved the problem.

Thanks for the suggestion... .. .
Just sitting at my desk with connection to headset(s) used for phone calls. This occurs with several different Bluetooth devices. There is a short beep and the connection is dropped. It can be quickly reconnected by asking the phone to connect.
I have tried removing the SD memory card to no effect. I have also tried removing the Walgreens app, earlier reported to cause this.
I am now trying the safe mode to see if that helps.
