I pre purchased the Samsung Galaxy S9+ in March 2018.  I recently purchased a 2018 Honda CRV.  The Android Auto is not compatible with the Galaxy S9+.   Does anyone know of an update to fix this issue.  The Android Auto works with other Galaxys but not the S9+.  HELP....

BELLA626, we certainly know how important it is to be able to use your phone hands-free. I welcome the opportunity to address your Android Auto inquiry. Typically, newer model Honda vehicles are equipped with this option. Have you checked with the dealer to see if there's an upgrade to your Handsfreelink system in your CR-V? As the software updates in the phones, the Bluetooth system in the vehicle may also need to be updated to ensure certain features will remain compatible.

Good Morning Ebony:

I have a call into Honda Corporation asking about if there is an update to

the Handsfreelink regarding my Samsung Galaxy S9* and Android Auto. I am

currently waiting a response. It is very frustrating to have the newest

technology and not be able to use it. Should you have any communication

with Honda that would be appreciated. Tell them your Galxy s9+ customers

are not happy. Thank you.

The dealer may have to do any needed updating involving the car.  I had a similar issue with my Nissan that dealer had to fix.
