My Samsung S4 has no service bars and I am right unde the tower. I should have full bars at my location. I cannot make a call, I cannot receive a call, I cannot text a message. The bar acvross the top is gree. Why do I not have any bars no service?

My Samsung S4 has no service bars and I am right under the tower.  I should have  full bars at my location.  I cannot make a call, I cannot receive a call, I cannot text a message.  The bar across the top is green.  Why do I not have any bars no service?

There could be a tower outage.  Have you tried resetting your SIM card?  In other words, turn off the phone, remove the SIM card (be careful not to touch the gold contacts), wait a few minutes, reinsert the SIM card, turn the phone back on, and allow the phone to establish a fresh network connection.

VZW to the rescue! Where are you located (zip)? Try removing the sim card for a few minutes. Insert and retest. Keep us posted if the issue persist.
