Data Usage Widget was working fine. Suddenly, it's showing "Tap to activate." Cleared cache, uninstalled My Verizon updates, restarted phone, etc., but couldn't get widget to work again. Any ideas?

Thank you for bringing it to our attention that you're having trouble tracking your data. Is this happening on only one device? Do you see the same issue if you go through vzw.com?

The problem is on my Samsung S20 FE 5G UW. (On vzw.com, there was a similar thread six years ago for iPhones; the problem was unresolved.)

After following the instructions, discovered that "My Verizon" cannot be uninstalled; rather, it can only be disabled. Are any other solutions available?

My Verizon is up-to-date, as was mentioned previously. Data usage widget is still stuck at "Tap to activate."
This widget enables easy viewing of data usage at a glance, rather than opening the My Verizon app. I hope that its functionality can be restored, especially considering that it was working fine until 10 days ago.

Thank you. The next troubleshooting step would be to perform a Factory Data Reset on your device. Please share the make and model so we can share the steps you need to follow to perform the reset.

A Factory Reset is a painful solution to retrieve the Data Usage Widget. Besides, who knows if that will even work? I'll be taking a pass for now. I suspect that other Samsung users also have nonfunctioning Data Usage Widgets. When enough complaints are received, Verizon coders will fix the problem on the next My Verizon update.
