My WIFI won't connect to known networks

Hi I can't get my wifi to connect or stay connected to wifi at home or at work. Both of these networks require passwords, which I can only see in the edit pane. I have turned off my phone, taken out my battery and sim card, replaced them and restarted my phone. No luck.

Can you help me?  I just get a 'saved, secured' status but not a connection to wifi.
