I just switched from Fi to Verizon. And with it, I got a new Galaxy 23 fe. My brother has a Pixel 7 Pro and is still on Fi. For some reason, text messages from me break his phone. It was super bad yesterday, but he talked to Fi support and basically reset his messages app which seemed to have fixed it. Today, anytime he receives a message from me slows his phone, and our conversation takes a long time to load, and messages from him are about a minute delayed. I have no idea what's causing the problem. On my end, all I've done is turn off RCS. I wonder if it would help to delete him from my contacts, delete our messages,and add him again. But this happens with our group messages too. Any idea at all?
Oh! My only idea is that I've switched a couple of times between Google's messages app and Samsung's version. I'm trying to use just Google's now though.
