New to verizon and droid

i just bought the new galaxy nexus yesterday and was browsing around the market but there are waaaayyyy too many apps to see each one so i was wondering if there were some apps that were pretty much a must have?

for me Gesture Search is one I use each and everyday. Easy way to search through contacts, apps, music, or damned near anything you might want to search for.  https://market.android.com/details?id=com.google.android.apps.gesturesearch

also if you are into weather widgets I love this one. I have tried out a dozen or so and BeWeather is my favorite.
