Nexus Galaxy poor 4G?

Im in a really good area (so they tell me) for Verizon reception. My cell signal is extremely weak and Im only running 1mbps after running SpeedTest.

Is this normal?

I have colleagues on "other" cell network pumpin 35+mbps and their radio signal is 5Bars- I barely get 2Bars

What is your dBm level and what type of network are you connecting to?

Not sure where to check for the dBm level but it doesn't matter if its 3G or 4G network the signal level is 1Bar, 2Bars at the most.

Settings > About > Signal

Don't look at the bars. Each manufacturer has a different rating scale to calculate the bar symbol.
