Im up to my third replacement phone, spoke to Tier 2 reps, did a factory reset, *228 and removed my battery several times and Im still not receiving "ALL" of my text messages.......smh. Verizon reps told me its the phone...Samsung reps told me it Verizon. Help, I don't know what to do! Never a had problem with any of my phones until now. Problem started a few months ago.....

My daughter was having somewhat the same problem, only losing a few text messages here and there. When I talked to her about it, there was a pattern of when/where she lost them, so when she was at those places, I had her do the *228 option 2 command to update roaming in those locations. Since she has done that, things have been better.
Might be coincidence, might not be... But it has been working so far.

I understand your discontent. I would be frustrated if my phone didn't receive all my text messages. I have checked my resources and I learned that this issue has been escalated to the manufacturer and is currently under investigation. Please assured that our leadership team and the manufacturer are working diligently to identify the root cause of this issue and resolve it. An issue like this is usually resolved with a OS update, which we'll push to all affected devices as soon as made available by the manufacturer.
You are a valued long term customer and our goal is to get this issue resolve with the manufacturer as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience.

We are still waiting to hear a word back from Samsung regarding this issue. I know it is frustrating, but again, we appreciate your patience as we look to get this resolved for you.
I am in the same boat. Already had my Fascinate replaced once with a pre-owned one due to battery issues after the software update. Now I don't get all of my text messages and some that I send don't reach the recipient. It is intermittent, no pattern showing up yet as far as when it happens or with whom. Very frustrating!!!! I learn of the problem when I talk to friends who mention a text I never received, or they tell me they didn't get a text from me. I have already gone through two sessions with tech support and done the *228 and hard reset. Now have my friends trying to remember to text me daily to test the situation. Already discovered 1 text I didn't receive just two hours after doing the hard reset. I'd really love to get rid of the Fasinate for something that actually works like it is supposed to! Unfortunately I have a year left on my contract. UGH!!!!

Got home last night and the wife asked me if I got her TEXT message. I checked my phone and nothing new. I went into text message and told her the last message I received was at like 6:30pm and she said no I sent one around 8:00pm. I asked her to get on her Verizon phone (not fascinate) and confirm it sent. Her phone said it went out fine at 8:00pm and did not fail to me.
Great ED05 and I am not getting text messages... Jeez we need a fix for this phone with so many issues...

I have the same problem and on top of that, some of my messages are not delivered either!
I've had the Fascinate for a while, but I wasn't texting that much in the beginning. Now it's really frustrating and it's obvious Samsung/Verizon are not going to fix this issue. Is there any way I could replace my Fascinate by another phone???
