Not receiving short code SMS

I ported my number from At&t to Verizon yesterday.  I can send/receive text messages and phone calls.  However, I cannot receive short code SMS.  I am currently unable to get on my bank account because the text never comes through.  I have called Verizon and they assure me everything is working properly.  I called my bank and they don't see any issues but they have done a support ticket and will look into it.  Is there anything I can do about this? Is it because of porting my number? Thanks for any help!!
