I have been having the same issue. I won't receive an messages most of the day and then it is like they batch in. I went to the local store; we changed the SIM card; reset network, etc. No resolution.

I'm using Message+ on a new Note 10 and all of a sudden I'm only getting a few messages within a group chat, or I'll get a bunch of messages in the group chat hours after they were sent. Please help!

Thank you, azsgreen. Is this happening when you are connected to Wi-Fi or LTE? Is it happening with SMS messages in addition to MMS Messages?

I have same issue. Started Monday at 12:45am. Also cant make or recieve calls. Called verizon support did factory reset. No luck. Went to store to try new sim car. NO LUCK. They installed my phone number on a store note 10. STILL IT DID NOT WORK!! They have decided it was network related since new sim and new phone had no effect. They also said that 14 people had reported the issue on their store forum (only verizon sees). I am supposed to get a call from them tomorrow but hope they are working on fix since its NOT just me. I seemed to start in last 24 hours. Anyone else have issues making and getting calls. Anyone find a way to work around it cause not being able to get calls (and texts) is horrible.

I cannot send or receive texts either unless it is an MMS or group text. I chatted with a rep and they told me to reset my app preferences which did nothing but disconnect me. When I checked online, many were reporting this problem. However, I asked the Verizon rep if there was some sort of problem with Verizon and he or she would not answer my question. It is annoying that no one at Verizon seems to know what is happening to my texts.

I am having the same issue myself. When I am on wifi I can get messages and send messages fine but when I am on LTE mobile network it doesnt work. My phone did a software update on feb 18 2020 and the problem started. The update was a verizon update to improve security. This is definitely a verizon issue since they are the ones that sent the update out to improve security. Idk if it is any other devices but this is ridiculous.

AdamArca, our goal is for you to stay connected, and are here to help! Which specific Note 10 are you using? (Note 10, Note 10+, Note 10+ 5G)? Can you tell us what error message you receive when you attempt to place a call and send a text, if any? What do you see as a signal? I understand you completed a network ticket. Have you received an update on your ticket?

Yes the issue was resolved for me. It was due to "Family Base" being on account see here https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/verizon-familybase-issue-resolution/
I will say it caused me loss of work beyond reason and tons of headache. Not to mention the pain of realizing my backup did not contain highly essential text messages. All in all I give Verizon a big "1" out of 10 for how they handled this fiasco. They owe me and I have received no calls or any words of apology, just the link above. Considering all the phones, fios internet and cable, business and residential lines I pay for I would expect more. MUCH more.
I will say if you have the issue be sure to power cycle phone or you will still have the issue. It goes away upon shutdown and reboot.
Most notable is this issue was fixed a day ago and the reps on this forum have no idea. Its fully documented in their system on the backend (only accessible to VZW employees)...they just needed to search to learn more. The suggestions by the reps here and ones on the phone I worked with and the store (though that was not as bad) is useless - take caution when a rep says lets try "factory reseting your phone". Verizon is definitely too big for smooth communication and processes. Starting to consider the competition after this incident.

Thank you but straight to my point you suggest a link to how to troubleshoot an iPhone 5. Do you not see the subject of this thread? its about Note 10. Wrong phone, wrong OS, and just wrong. Proof that support at Verizon is really hurting. You did a good job of moving me towards switching away. Thank you!

Also, is this issue only happening when you are connected to Wi-Fi? We ask because your phone would need our signal to work for your text messages.

I have had this problem since I purchased my phone . A $1300 Galaxy Note 10 + 5G
I have tried EVERY scenario from support and what I've found online
I have tried multiple text apps, and it happens with all of them
I am currently back on the native message app and I either get no messages, or they come in hours later.
Groupe messages is an utter disaster.
I wish I never left apple and bought an android.
Now I'm stuck with this phone and its issues because Verizon wants me to pay the balance of $1k, in order to purchase another $1x phone.....
