Just switched to Verizon. My note 9 continously says phone not activated although it works fine. Went to store for help, but no one had any idea what causing this notification error. On top of that, some games app continues to get installed after everytime I uninstall. That's real pain.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with your phone showing a "phone not activated" message. When did you start having problems with that message? What troubleshooting have you tried?

Thank you for the information. We'd like to perform a factory data reset on the device if that's OK with you. You can do so following these steps: https://www.verizon.com/support/knowledge-base-218933/
As far as the games being downloaded, when does this happen?

I don't want to do factory reset as I don't want my data and settings to be erased. That's not convenient. If I knew this would happen, I should have never switched my service to Verizon. And after I restart my phone, those games get downloaded.

That would be the next step to take in this situation. To clarify, did you purchase this phone directly from Verizon?
