Note7 owners - Bloatware - from factory and after reboot

Was happy to get a new Note7 on release day and disabling a lot of the unnecessary VZ and Samsung apps was easy enough, but after a random reboot today (the phone was just sitting on the table), new games were installed:

Empire, Mobile Strike, Panda Pop, and Cookie Jam

Also an "AppLock Pro" was installed (at least I don't remember seeing it earlier).

Just to be safe, I figured I'd do a factory reset since it was pretty new and now I see the same games installed!  I also see the Alto app which I don't remember previously.

The infamous DTignite is present as an application - is this the cause of it all?  If so, I'll have to clean up and disable it.

Any other Note7 owners getting new Bloatware installed?

DT Ignite is an app that allows Verizon to install apps on your phone without your knowledge.  I have already disabled mine.

I have been doing research on this application.

It is true that you can disable any non-critical android app, and this is no exception. However, this app is not a significant consumer of memory, processor, or data that would typically be a reason to disable. This app is only a factor in first-use scenarios where apps are  being installed and restored on a new or recently reset device.

Thanks for the replies, but what I was hoping to get was a confirmation from other Note7 owners that these were installed also.  I want to be sure if it was a Verizon-sponsored install (annoying, but hopefully not harmless and can uninstall anyway), or was it some drive-by/mis-click install via malware?

Any Note7 owners out there seeing the same games installed?  I ask because I see that it was an issue with some S7 owners.

What app did you use to disable it?  If you choose Disable on the Note7, it asks to replace it with the factory installed app.  You can force close it, but need to keep doing it.

This is what happens with any app which came with the phone. Your first replace it with the factory installed app and then disable it.

It's not a mistake. It's a preloaded but can be disabled. As I said above, it only is a factor at first time setup and or a factory reset.

Yup  I disabled DT Ignite upon setup... no bloatware.

same situation with my note 7. There were some updates automatically installed this morning 8/24/2016 when I plugged in to charge my phone. After the installation, some bloatware showed up. Everything you mentioned plus some other nonsense stuff, such as com.ebay.carrier showing up in the application manager within Settings. W-T-F is this, I don't even have Ebay app installed on my app. So I disabled all unknown apps.

My understanding is that they were coming from Verizon. So too shame for Samsung who should have stand firmly on their ground not allowing carriers to install bloatware like Apple did. I'm switching back to iPhone this Sep once iPhone 7 is out. Goodbye Samsung.
