One contact cannot receive my text messages

I have one contact that cannot receive text messages from me. But I can receive text messages from them. We have not blocked each other. Calling is fine but texting just went out last week. Is there anyone who can help me with this?

They have an iPhone and I have a Samsung Galaxy 21FE.

Thank you for the details AlleyT. Let's try the following. Go to Settings, then Messages, and turn on Send as SMS. This feature is useful when iMessage is unavailable on other devices.
