I had over 7,400 e-mails in my deleted box on my handset and have a few questions.
1.) Where is the deleted e-mails stored? (server or phone)?
2.) There is a "Delete All" option it ran for approx 7 hours and I am down to approx 6,300 e-mails remaining.
I thought I would clear them as there are attachments to many of the e-mails and if it takes up physical space on the phone then I'm thinking it's a good idea to clear them to save on space.
Any clarification would be helpful. It's going to take days to clear out the deleted box.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The (deleted) emails are stored in both locations, although the phone only stores a small part of the message unless you retrieve the whole message. If you set the phones email program up to delete the mesage on the server when the message is deleted on your phone, then it will be gone on the server. If you do not, then it will stay there until it is deleted.
The DELETE ALL option, as you have seen, takes A LONG TIME to run. I do not let mine get to large, only a couple hundred messages before I delete them, and that still takes awhile...
