Hopefully someone can help me. I've been with Verizon for over 5 years now. I bought 2 Samsung galaxy s10e when they had a promo of buy one get one free over 24 months. There were billing me and crediting back on the free phone. Fast forward to today. I still have 8 months left and decided to pay off the one and bought but accidently paid off the free one that they were crediting back every month and now I still have a balance on the phone that I actually owe on. I've called customer service and pretty was told I was out of luck. Its was a mistake I made and I get that. Any advise would be much appreciated. Thank you.
We know how important it is to get information on your services. In this case, when you paid off the wrong device, you were paying off a loan agreement. Once bought out, these agreements cannot be reinstated per the information in the agreement itself.

I understand that. It was an honest mistake. Really sad that nothing could be done. I've always paid my bills but feel like this could've been handled differently.
Unfortunately, it's an expensive lesson. On the upside, you had over a year of credits.
Next time, look at your bill before paying a phone off early to not pay the one saying promo credit x of 24.
Yea maybe your right. Though probably won't be an issue anymore. Maybe I can find a company thats willing to help and not straight up give me the bird.
We would never want to lose a customer, Cr2Sun. We truly understand how it feels that you no longer qualify for the promotion due to paying the “buy” device off early. It is good that you shared this experience with the community, though. We are very up front about our promotions. Even those we offer now state the same terms:
With monthly payments. Promotion ends when qualifications are no longer met.
It is unfortunate that paying off the buy device ended the promotion sooner than you expected. Does this help explain the details behind what happened?

We know that this is not what you wanted to hear, Cr2Sun. Our promotions are set up with requirements which if changed, will make you ineligible. We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused.

Yea you guys are just doing your job. It was great while it last. Just waiting for my new devices to come in. Maybe I'll switch back to Verizon if I can't stand my new carriers coverage. Thanks and take care.
Thank you for working with us, Cr2Sun. We know a good deal and good service are important, and we'll be here to support you anytime.
