Phone has issues with Wifi and Mobile Network

My wife and I have Galaxy S22 5G phones.  Since Verizon went live with the 5G network we have service issues within our area.  Our phones will have a hard time gaining service from mobile networks or home wifi.  It will take a tremendous time to load or just time out of anything.  When this happens and we try to make a call, the call will connect but then instantly drop and state no network is available, even though the screen shows we are connected with service and connected to our wifi network.  When someone calls us and this happens it doesn't ring but goes straight to voicemail as though there is no service.  When transitioning from Wifi to mobile or reverse the phone can take up to 10 mins to recognize that the wifi network is no longer available and switch over to mobile or won't recognize it at all and think it is still connected thus causing system failure.  The only solution we have found that occasionally works is to turn the phone off and restart thus rebooting the system.  I have attempted to use the airplane mode to reboot but this rarely works.  I have attempted to turn off wifi calling but that didn't affect the service at all.  It seems to be getting worse and we have never had this issue with Verizon service till now.   Not sure why the phone is struggling to transition from a mobile network to wifi network and back without getting "confused" and crashing all services and apps, like phone calls, text messages, Spotify, etc.

You mentioned that you are experiencing an issue when connected to WiFi. Is this happening when connected to a particular WiFi network or does this happen with multiple WiFi networks? When did the issue with WiFi start? What happens when trying to use service when not connected to WiFi?

It is not just connecting to Wifi is also going from Wifi to mobile and also mobile to wifi.  It isn't one particular it's really all of it, but I notice it with my home network the most obviously as that is the one I am using the most.  Like my post stated it became an issue when Verizon rolled out 5G in our area however it wasn't as common at first but now it is an everyday thing.  When not connected to WIFI the phone kinda works but there are times when we are connected to either 5G or LTE only and it still has calling and network issues where calls don't go through or connect or apps do not load and time out.

Thanks for that information. I understand you are experiencing an issue with both the cellular network in addition to your home WiFi. With regard to the network, is this happening at home or in multiple locations? What do you see for service on your devices?

Multiple locations.  For service we see the phone switch from 4GLTE to 5G Wifi usually always shows service when we are home.

My calls have been dropping or actually don't go through. I can't recieve texts or make any. I have a Galaxy s22 ultra and the last year it's been horrific. Enough. What is thr issue and fix this.
