I'm having the exact SAME PROBLEMS as others! I live in a densely populated area and have been a Verizon customer for a very long time. I pay them thousands of dollars every year. I am a consultant and work from home. I rely on my phone to make a living. And yet for the last couple of months, my phone service is all but unusable! I get no signal at all and then it jumps to 4G three bars and then back to 3G one bar and then nothing again. Tons of dropped calls.
I talked to support multiple times. Each time, they say the same stuff. But still no improvement. Once when I was talking to them, the call dropped four times! They were gracious enough to give me 5% off my bill! Oh my. That is so generous. Like you said, if I didn't pay my bill, they would drop me as a customer immediately. I get service that's almost unusable and get 5% off.
This is completely unacceptable.
When did the problem begin?
I can't pinpoint the time exactly, but it's been really bad for more than two months. I had been trying to ignore it hoping it was a temporary network outage. Lately, I can't even reliably make a call. I just got three dropped calls in a row before sending this. And, the text messages don't send either. They just say "pending" until I walk away from the house far enough to get signal. Mind you, I live in the city -- not far out in the deep woods somewhere.
