-109 dBm 31 asu, I live in Peoria, AZ and this is the signal strength on both of my Samsung Galaxy S3's.
Both are not getting LTE upload or download speeds while on my Verizon LTE connection. Working from home I can use my Cox wifi and get the speed I need; however, would like to know if necessary I can get the job done with my Verizon device. I have had this issue almost 2 years now and do't feel like I am getting what I am paying for. My contract is ending and December and I need the fast reliable network that Verizon claims they offer or my need to switch providers. Please let me know asap how to correct this situation.

This is a peer to peer forum where customers can give suggestions and advice to other customers with their questions and not a direct link to Customer Support.
I get about that signal strength in many area where I live and can access the 4G LTE network are a reasonable speed. Not great and it certainly could be improved, but it is within the 4G LTE speeds Verizon Wireless originally said most customers should expect.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I work from home and for the past year and a half having been hoping these slow 4G LTE speed issues would be addressed. I can go a couple mile from my home and get around -75 dBm and over 10 Mbs download speed. Also when I was in Phoenix, I was able to get 62 Mbps download and 14 Mbps upload. I just tested my smartphone and am still only getting 3 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. All I would like is to get the 4G LTE speeds advertised and/or someone to contact me to address my issues.
The Best COVERAGE
A phone is only as good as the network it’s on.®Verizon’s super-fast 4G LTE network is the most reliable and inmore places than any other 4G LTE network.
- Only Verizon’s 4G network is 100% LTE.
- Covers over 97% of Americans.
- 2X the 4G LTE coverage of any other network.
Seeing is believing. Compare Verizon 4G LTE coverage to other 4G LTE networks.

Not sure what your question has to do with the topic at hand but I'll answer it.
StraightTalk is MVNO not an actual carrier. They use real carriers networks. So in order for your Verizon phone to work on ST you'd be connecting to Verizon's network. Now if you are having issues with connecting to Verizon network going over to ST with a Verizon phone won't help. You'd be connecting to the same network. Also Verizon doesn't allow 4G devices on prepaid. ST is prepaid. This will change in 2 days at least for Verizon Prepaid. When or IF MVNOs will be able to use Verizon's 4G network no one knows.

So am I reading this correct to say the customers in the 85381 area should not expect the 4G LTE speeds as advertised and there is no one that can address or assist with this issue. ???

Of course you can expect the best coverage from us Isandks! Let's partner together and get your data services working properly. May I ask what software version do you have on your S 3? Also, can I assume that there isn't any physical/liquid damage on the device? Are you getting these signal results indoors, outdoors, or both?
Thank you...

Coverage is not the same thing as speed. And speed is going to be a function of many factors. Have you got XLTE in your market / area? Try a Speedtest indoors. Now try one outside. Any difference?
