I have a Samsung Galaxy III that I've had for 17 months. A couple of my battery charges will no longer work and the others I have to work really hard to position the charger in the port in order to get the phone to recognize that it's there and to charge. I read somewhere about using a toothpick to clean out lint, but found no lint. It's more feeling like my port is bigger and the connection to a charger looser than it used to be. Any ideas? Or does the port loosen up/expand over time and I'm going to have to buy a new phone?

newscmomtoo,
We're sorry to hear about your charging troubles. I know how frustrating it can be trying to get your phone charged up in this situation. It definitely sounds like the charging port may be a bit loose due to 17 months of wear and tear. Do you know if you purchased an extended warranty with the device? Is there any apparent physical or water damage to the device? Let us know so we can further assist!
