Questions about CLNRs for Galaxy S24 Ultra

The frame on my phone is twisted;  I have not mistreated my phone at all, and there is nothing on the phone to indicate that my actions have caused this twisting.  There are, however, some cosmetic scratches and scuffs on the screen; I think I put it in my pocket with my keys once.   Anyway, due to these cosmetic scratches, nobody is willing to do anything to repair the device.  Both Samsung and Verizon were willing to issue warranty repairs, but they both go through the same business (UbreakIFix), and that business was unwilling to honor either of the warranty repairs due to the scratches; they classify any scratches as physical damage, and do not honor warranty repairs on phones with physical damage.

Because I noticed this twisting after the 30 replacement period, and because no one is willing to fix the phone under warranty, my choices are to send it to Samsung and be without a phone for 3 weeks, or accept a Certified Like New Replacement.   I have spent hours speaking to both companies, and this is what is left for me to choose from.

So, my question is this:  Given that the S24 Ultra was released earlier this year, how likely is it that I'll get a dud?  I know that CLNRs have awful reputations, and I am not happy about accepting one; refurbished units are not worth what I paid for this phone, even after you account for the loss in value after having it for 2.5 months.
