Other carriers a week ago are free of autofocus issue after a 2 plus month wait, and I see no logic regardless of covid 19 why the update cant be pushed. And yes I know the path firmwares travel.
I speak for other customers here with the Ultra. I need no assistance on how to check for updates on device.

They might be created and managed by Samsung but Verizon has to approve the update. So the blame lies with Verizon since the S20 has received the May and June updates yet the S20+ and Ultra have not. Any other way to lay the blame on Samsung? @vzw_customer_support

Yeah, the update has been created and released. Itโs available on other carriers. Verizon customers just want to know and ETA from Verizon. No need to explain how to update or that the Mfg. creates it. We know that. What escapes us is Verizonโs answer as to when they will make it available.

Hello. I can certainly understand why you would be upset. However, updates are created and managed by the manufacturer and not your service provider. JordanL_VZW

We want your phone to work its best. You'll get an automatic notification when it's available. You can also check for updates under Settings > System updates > Check for system updates. I hope this is beneficial.

Can you guys stop harassing forum staff? Honestly, it'd be like asking you for things that go on at your place of employment that you have nothing to do with.
VZW community, store reps or CS, neither is told when Verizon is going to push out an update. If this was a big enough concern, you'd buy the unlocked versions of phones instead of from a carrier.

ULTRAmachine, please bookmark the following page to stay up to date as software releases are made available for your device: https://www.verizon.com/support/samsung-galaxy-s20-ultra-5g-update/ Although you are correct that the release date shows April 2020, please note that we are not able to guarantee release dates at this time.

I would also like to express my disappointment with the lack of updates on the part of Verizon. My phone says I'm up to date yet my software is from the beginning of April? While it's my understanding that there have been multiple updates from Samsung and other carriers since then? I thought Verizon was marketed as a premium name with premium service. Apparently I had the wrong impression.
