Is anyone else having problems with their Fascinate just crashing during use after the 2.3 OTA update? I've noticed that the phone will just crash. The way I know that it crashed is that I'll hear the Samsung theme, then the Verizon wireless theme. The screen remains black. I've had it happen while it was just laying on the desk, no apps running. Very odd. I was happy with the device before this, but this behavior really sucks.
I tried a solution mentioned on Androidforum.com that worked very well for me. I uninstalled Google Maps. Then used my phone for a few hours with no problems. Then I reinstalled the newest version of Google Maps from the Market and my phone is still working fine (no crashes, much better battery life). Hope this works for you as well.!
