In late December my Galaxy Nexus stopped charging, they blamed it on corrosion on the device charging port, so they sent me a replacement. It was a piece of junk first off with a dead spot right in the middle of the screen so it is difficult to use, but I got adjusted to since I was on vacation and couldn't take it in. I can deal with the dead spot but it won't update to 4.2, I have had a couple of friends try doing different things on the device to try to get it to update, but It didn't work. I also figure I should say it is factory settings, not rooted or customized. I know that 4.2 will work on the nexus because the one I sent in was running it. I was wondering if anyone knew of anyone solutions to this problem or if I should just take it in to the store again?
