Is there anyone else have issues when restoring text messages to their Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from Verizon Cloud app? I'm trying to determine if it is the OS 4.4.4 or the phone issue. My Samsung Galaxy S4 with OS 4.4.2 re stores the text messages just fine.

gpeterden,
I am so sorry to hear about the issues you are having with restoring your text. Do you receive an error message when trying to restore the text? Are you able to restore all other information from the Verizon Cloud?

LindseyT_VZW,
Everything except text messages. I'm seeing if others are having this
issue. I've posted under cloud forum, but got no resolution to the issue.
I've come to the conclusion that either it's an app compatibility issue
with the Note 4 or OS 4.4.4.

gpeterden Thanks for the update. when you're trying to restore messages, are you using wifi or the mobile network? When was the last time you've had a successful restore?

I've tried both WiFi and mobile. The last time I was able to restore was
when I had my Samsung Galaxy S4.

gpeterden, thanks for those details. Are you receiving any specific error messages when attempting to restore messages? Have you attempted to uninstall and reinstall the Cloud application? Take a look here to see how http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-123843/.

The app is embedded. Tried with updates uninstalled. Once I click restore
and less than a second a notification states restore complete. The app says
estimated time should have taken one hour. No texts were restored.

That's for Verizon Message+. I use the android (embedded) messages app that
comes with the android phones. Verizon Cloud backs up the messages from the
android messages app. Verizon Message+ Doesn't use Verizon Cloud it uses
Integrated Messaging Services to back up its messages. I'm trying to
restore my messages from the Verizon Cloud to the android message app like
other android phones do that don't use Verizon Message+ and Integrated
Messaging Services.

ZWM, we don't want this to be an ongoing problem for you. Try disabling Wi-Fi and connect to our network when restoring text messages from Verizon Cloud. http://vz.to/IsygQ6

I've tried both WiFi and network without any luck. Between this and not being able to access my edu acct through the native email client, I'm starting to think the Note 4 has got some issues!

I can tell you I've tried that. Verizon Cloud App isn't fully compatible
with Samsung Galaxy Note 4. If The support team would look at the treads in
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Cloud concerning this issue they would find a lot
of detail what is going on. Maybe someone on the Verizon team should try
doing it with a Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

I'm having the same Issue!!! this sucks, I even called Verizon support, they couldn't help me.
I've been at this for 2 days now, not to mention my pictures where all saved but all over the place in no order.
so many pictures all over random folders mixed up.. : /
Is there a way to view Cloud on My Verizon like we see it on the phone? I see the new text messaged from when I got the phone 2 days ago, but the ones that as per cloud are still saved on there I don't know how to see them?

HairByNico, I want to make sure you are able to view all of your pictures. Have you been able to log onto the cloud from your home computer? You can always get there by following this quick link: http://vz.to/1rtud5p and then click on 'Already a Verizon Cloud user? Manage your content on the web' link. That should be able to take you to your cloud info.

HairByNico,
We want you to view your texts! Let's try this. Please log into your My Verizon account. From there, please hover over the My Verizon tab, you will get a fly out menu, hover over the My Device option, then select Send & Manage Messages. Are they listed there?
