Robo Call Blocked - They Can Leave Voice Mail?

There is a company called "OPTUM Rx" who has called me no less than one time per day for the past 2 months. I have used the spam filter and blocked their calls but Verizon STILL allows them to leave me voice mail every.single.day. If you provide us with spam blocker (it says this number is blocked) but still allow them to leave voice mail that's frequently 50-60 seconds, what is the point. I've reported the number to the FCC, I reported it through our state but Verizon should be able to truly blocks the calls and not allow them to call AND send voice mail. Is this in the future or not at all?

If you are blocking the call on the phone, they can still leave you a voicemail. If you use the free call block in your MyVerizon account online, you can block up to 5 numbers for free for 90 days. Numbers that are blocked through your MyVerizon account online will not be able to leave a voicemail.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

I receive unwanted calls and voicemails every day. Our goal is to help. I understand you've exhausted all options to address spam calls and wish not to receive their voicemails. We do not have info regarding future improvements to Call Filter. Here's a link that will keep you up to date with VZW products and services
