I have tried resetting it activating it and nothing works. Phone is 2 days old.

have you selected that option in settings/s-pen?

If settings does not resolve the problem, and other problems come up, please note you have only 14 days to return/exchange. After 14 days it’s a warranty issue, which may not replace the phone with a new device.
Carrier stores are not repair centers and Samsung pulled its centers out of Best Buy stores.

Being able to use your S-Pen regularly is one of the big advantages of the Note9. We certainly want you able to fully enjoy that. We're glad to help. What happens when you try to use the S-Pen? What steps are you taking to reset/activate this?
