S20 FE 5G UW software update 13 G781VSQU5DUI1 killed document scanning function

Since update 13 mentioned above, the document scan function of the built in camera app stopped working properly.  The function initially worked, when pointing the camera at a piece of paper, the yellow square wrapping around the paper appeared properly, with the tap to scan button.  After tapping the scan button, a blank screen with "Retake" or "Save" button appeared instead of the document adjustment.  Tapping "Save" crashed the camera app.

I tried:

• Rebooting (didn't work)
• Clearing data for the Camera app (didn't work)
• Clearing data for the system Camera app (didn't work)

Thank you for that information. When the App Crashes, are there any error messages, or does it just crash and disappear without providing an error message? *Gert

Most of the time there were no message (just quit to home screen).  Sometimes it does show a split second a message box, but I could never read the message.
