My wife is her company's admin for their Verizon account. After the January 2024 update on her s21 ultra she has dropped calls all the time and no network issues that she didn't have before the update. I being in IT support have tried to figure it out. I have a s21 plus with no issues after the update. Done and lots of research and see she is not the only one with issues on a s21 ultra online. Have tried different suggestions still having the same issue. Verizon please figure out what happened with this update on the s21 ultra.

Working in IT have applied standard trouble shooting practices. Device is protected by an otterbox and my wife takes good care as she usually keep phones for awhile.
Rebooted, turning device off overnight.
Samsung device care, clearing cache, connections >mobile networks >data roaming (tried on & off), verify settings, access point name Verizon, network operator auto.
When testing at home were we usually have 4 bars cell signal. I turned on wifi & wifi calling and phone works. I can see 4 bars cell signal with wifi on. Turn wifi off and get a X for cell signal.
I am sure there is steps I have done and forgotten as this is been a issue.

Thank you for the additional information. Is your wife only having problems in one location when Wi-Fi is off? Do you know if others are having the same issues with other types of devices in the area? If possible, can we have your ZIP Code to make sure there's no reported outages?

It is in multiple locations around Orlando and when she was in Duluth where there is no wifi and cell coverage is good as others are that are on Verizon have no problems. Her phone will have coverage and then drop to 0.
Most of my testing is done from home as it is a given area with good coverage as our whole family is on Verizon.
The zip code is 32812.
My S21 plus on Verizon has no issues as my daughters S22.

That is certainly some odd behavior, Maylianna. I know I wouldn't want to have to schedule time at the start of each month to get my phone fixed and back working myself, and I am here to help. Can you tell me more about when this behavior first started? Do you know where at in the troubleshooting process things start working again?
